The desk clerk was asleep and no where in sight once we arrived. Not being discriminatory, but by her behavior she seemed to be high, drunk or on some type of drug. She then was unable to print a receipt correctly. Note: I booked online and the price was different when at the desk. Then after 15 or 20 min she then assigned us to a room that someone was still in. Us not knowing and it being 5am, we had to continue to apologize for waking them up. We were then assigned to a new room and only having one of the 2 key cards activated. Next day we needed clean towels and an iron, only to be told we had to come down to get them ourselves. so annoying!!! Also a person on staff was seen going into a room with no shoes on. That is so unprofessional. I will be back to Pine Bluff for Thanksgiving and I will definitely be finding another hotel.
This place leaves alot to be desired. There was no chair at the desk. The beds are small and there is a faint odor in the facility. You can not get extra towels unless you turn in the ones you've already used. This is not quite what I bargained for. For the price, the facility could be alot better.
The hotel was very nice and clean the staff was excellent and nice especially the receptionist Shasta she was very nice and polite with a wonderful smile.. Will be back soon..
It was a roof over our heads. Beds were up off the ground. ;o) Poor quality everything. We were in room 221. There was a desk, but no desk chair or any other chair to sit on. No suitcase stand. I can live without that, but they are nice to have.There was no door on the closet, although one could see that there is hardware in place for that. One metal hanger in the closet. No tissues in the bathroom! There was toilet paper. The ceiling was falling down above the shower. There were no amenities such as shampoo/conditioner & no glasses or paper cups! Really?! Also no towel racks to hang towels.
Like I said, we had a roof over our heads.
I loved staying at this motel, everything is renovated and remodeled, management was very good, comfy beds and clean rooms with room service every day. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a nice stay.
They had complimentary coffee in the lobby from 6 to 9 am. No breakfast included, which was advertised. Grrrr!
